"Sofia Beckett? Err, no, hate the girl. She’s vile. Can a lie to you? No, Sofia Quirk-buckett is immense, she’s fun and witty and just greatness on legs. I met her, she met me, we clicked like we were jigsaw pieces. I liked her because she is witty and charming in her, if slightly odd, special way and she liked me because she says I have a ‘friendly aura’ about me. What is an aura anyway? Well, yeah, we met and it snowballed and now I’m stuck with her."

"I hate her because she doesn't know a damn thing about me but there she goes to judge. Saying that I'm stuck up and not good for Dylan, what do you mean not good for Dylan? I'm not some girl who works them selfs up to become the boy needs and wants and what good enough for him. Fuck that if he don't like what he see then goodbye and if she don't like it then goodbye! But I like him and he likes me, she needs to keep her head out of it and go destroy someone else."

"So when I met Sofia for the very first time, I wasn't exactly in the best frame of mind for good manners. It wasn't long after I'd moved here, and I remember for about three months after we arrived I was still completely pissed off at the whole thought of not being in Las Vegas. This one day, I was trying my very hardest to navigate the sidewalk, which for some reason was flooded with tourists, and all of a sudden, there's this girl and we sort of collide, and...well. Hit a brick wall. Needless to say, we didn't get off on the right foot, and she just disappeared without apologising or something. I gave up and put it down to my recent bad luck, and went home feeling considerably more miserable than I had been earlier.
Anyway, there I am a few weeks later and I end up seeing the same girl, and I realise who she is, and Thank God she sees me too because otherwise I would've looked like a stalker. I was in a considerably better mood that day, and we struck up a conversation. As it turned out, she was from Chicago, and I actually tended to go there a lot with my Dad when I was a kid; it was sort of our "father-son bonding" attempt. And after that, I can quite confidently say that Sofia is one of the first friends I ever made in New York. I mean, we're not joined at the hip or anything, but I enjoy her company. Even if she is like. Way shorter than me. But then again, a lot of people are. I really should find something else to complain about, unless I can make friends with some basketball players anytime soon. And that's unlikely."
