Alexis and Dylan meet up along the way and found out they had one thing in common, Troy. They both knew him and crashed into each other after that, mainly Dylan would come by the beta sigma house and pick her up as they went out as friends.

Ridley and Dylan have been friends ever since the two of them were in diapers. Having their parents be friends didn't hurt them. As they grew up they only got closer. As Ridley started high school came everyone thought that they had to be going out, they were always together, but of course they weren't dating, they were just best friends. They've been best friends ever since and nothing can change that.
”Dylan! I absolutely love this man, he is the most amazing best friend and has been there ever since we were in diapers. I know that I can count on him, and he knows that he can always count on me. As time went on though I started feeling something a bit more than friendship for him, but by the time I actually realized it, Gabe came in the picture, now that me and Gabe are dating, I can't still like him more than a friend, can I? I think I still might, but I would and could never do anything that would hurt Gabe and mines relationship.”

Holly and Dylan have known each other since they were children and Holly, Dylan, and Troy have been the best of friends ever since. Though the two boys can be a bit annoying at times she still loves him. She thinks of him as a big brother and she's Troy's big sister. She's been looking out for the to boys since they were little children and she still feels that way about them. She likes that they look after her though sometimes it can be a little annoying she knows they only mean the best.
"Dylan, oh geez. He's like the big brother I already had. I've got two older brothers and an older sister but somehow I still felt like he was my true brother. He was always looking out for me along with Troy even though Troy was a few months younger he still acted as if he was my big brother. I really do adore those two boys and I'm glad they've continued to look out for me since we were little."

Extroverted people have always intimidated Edie and this didn't differ with Dylan. She avoided people like him and his friends like the plague the confident, popular and good looking people these seemed to be the people that surrounded Dylan and that's where her impressions started and impressions whether negative or positive are not good but we all tend to make them. She thought he was the cocky sports and girl playing jock boy, the kind that picked on her back home. Then finally the simple scenario that determined their relationship a simple misjudgement of actions - It had been a bad day for Edie and all she wanted to do was leave campus as fast as she could and in the middle of doing so bumped into Dylan scattering her belongings on the ground and falling on her backside as she did so. If anyone had seen it unfold they would have thought Dylan was joking around in light humour with Edie after she had dropped her books, but they didn't so her assumptions of him clouded her judgment of the situation and a simple 'Oh, I didn't see you down there' was Dylan’s response to Edie sitting on the floor looking like a stunned mullet. It had outraged Edie that he was making fun of her and so she spat venomous words at the boy something along the lines of 'Wow, you are a jerk' or was it 'Your such a arrogant jerk'? Not waiting for a reply or not registering it Edie gathered her belongings and with one final glare stormed out of the University.
"Dylan is a royal jerk. The typical arrogant sporty jock type. I don't like him at all ever since that day in the halls he was so out of line - like of was beneath him or something. Whatever though I just never liked guys like him."

Sofia and Dylan stumbled upon each other shortly after Sofia moved up north. For one reason or another, he took to her wit and charm, if it can even be called that, and she took to his friendly aura. They clicked and a friendship rapidly developed.
"Molinsky? I don't know any Dylans... ok, I lied. Dylan is a great person. It always amazes me how genuinely friendly he seems to be. It is kind of the opposite of my personality, and maybe that is why I take to him so well.
