Not being at work, and not being at school felt great. Absolutely brilliant. She had barely any time to chill out anymore, with working on Heroes and with school in her spare time, it was tiring. So it was lucky that she didn't have any school and had a day off from work as well. She sat in her couch at Starucks and turned the page of her book. It felt good to read something other than psychology notes or a script. She leant forwards to pick up her Chai Tea and took a sip, letting out a sign of relief and satisfaction. She didn't like coffee, so she settled for the more.. natural stuff.
You couldn't really get away from fame. Today as she walked down the streets of New York, many people had come up to her for autographs and to squeal words, that she couldn't even make out. She took pictures with them and all that stuff celebritites do. Well, she did kind of ask for this lifestyle. She let out a sigh, feeling incredibly relaxed. She still red her book with her oversized sunglasses on. Why she did so? It blocked the sun that reflected of fthe off white pages into her eyes.
She moved a little in her seat, getting more comfortable. She tried to ignore little whispers directed at her. Why don't they just take a picture? It would last longer. She propped her elbow of the arm of the seat and scratched the side of her head a little. She cleared her throat a little. It was feeling a bit humid in the cafe, even with teh air-condition on. She looked up. Oh, they had opened the doors fairly wide to let fresh air. Why didn't she figure that out earlier? She lifted her cup up again to find it empty. Oh dear. She put her bookmark back into her book and got up, to get something else. She walked towards the line, behidn the small crowd adn looked up at the boards to decide what to order. Deciding on a smoothie, she turned aroudn to walk to the back of the line. As she did, she hit someone or someone walked into her, whichever came first. All that mattered now was that ice coffee was all over her. Shit.

It had been a long day already. Sunny had spent the first part of the early morning at a photoshoot, though she had not been particularly thrilled about this. She was one of the new faces for Cover Girl, which was all well and good, but it also meant spending hours with too many layers of make-up caked on her face. When she had finally escaped from that particular brand of hell, she'd had to run straight to her only class of the day. That hadn't gone nearly as well as she'd expected either and had been glad when the professor had released them fifteen minutes early.
Now, Sunny was on her way to Starbucks, in dire need of a recharge. Her cell phone rang and she frowned as she whipped it out of her Coach purse and answered. "Sunny Phelps," she said in a rather frustrated tone. The caller id had informed her that it was her agent calling, for the seventh time that day. He had been working on securing her a role in a new horror movie that was being filmed a few months down the road, but Sunny had no interest in it whatsoever. A horror movie as your first screen role seemed a bit tacky to someone who considered herself as classy as Sunny did.
"Listen, Marcus, I told you already that I don't want to do it," she said, throwing a quick and obviously fake smile at the woman behind the counter as she snatched up her iced coffee and threw a five in the little tip jar on the counter. Sunny spun around, not paying any heed to where she was going. She knew that people knew who she was, had known that since she was a teenager, and assumed that they would do their part in making her life easier by getting the hell out of the way. Unfortunately, she hadn't factored in another starlet in her midst. As she ran unceremoniously into the girl that had had the misfortune of being too close behind her, Sunny frowned. "Marcus, I'm going to have to let you go. Thanks to you, I just spilled coffee all over Bailey Reed, of all people."
Sunny clicked her phone shut, not bothering to listen to his response. Throwing it back in her purse, she handed Bailey the small stack of napkins she was carrying, her face unreadable. She wasn't happy about this new development, but she wasn't necessarily terrified either. She'd read about Bailey before and knew that they had more in common than the girl realized, but she also knew that the other girl certainly had a bit more starpower than she did. It was hard to be on a show like Heroes and not be a bit more famous than a model trying to break into acting.
"In the mood for a shopping trip?" Sunny asked offhandedly, eyeing the other girl's dripping clothing and trying to keep any sign of the slight humor she found in this situation off her face.
