Britney was driving to the mall, but not really paying attention to anything or anybody. It was really boring right now. She knew nobody, and chances were that nobody would even glance her way. She was the new kid. New kids weren't that popular, even if this was just university. Besides, she was a freshman. Who wanted to talk to a freshman. They were the most unpopular kids on campus. She needed a job though. Without a job, she wouldn't be able to buy anything for herself. That was the reason she had come to the mall. So that she could get a job and make some money. She could have gotton a job at the Tipton, but she didn't really like working at hotels. She'd tried it once, and it wasn't her thing.
Today she was wearing her blonde hair in a clip. It cascaded down her back like a blonde ocean. Britney loved her hair. It was her security blanket. Her deep purple tank top was brought out by her dark wash jeans. Her favorite jeans. She always seemed to wear them, but then, she had though that a jean mini wouldn't have been very appropiate for a job interview. On her feet were some black heeled boots. She had to look professional right? She was also wearing the heart necklace her mom had given her, and some gold bracelets from her grandmother. She thought she looked ok, but sometimes you can't trust youself. She walked in, being a little nervous, and started on the interview.
Coming out, she felt happy about it. She definately thought she had the job. Now she just had to get to school the next day. She was living in a dorm, but was hoping to join a sorority. She was smart, and pretty hot, so she thought she had a good chance. It wasn't like she was a loser, she simply had to make some friends here. All her other friends had gone to some other college. She had been the only one to head off on her own. It was a little scary, but she'd meet some people eventually. Maybe she would meet someone at the mall. Anything can happen right? She wasn't a ditz. She was really charismatic. But, sometimes she was kind of strange. It was a good thing that side didn't come out very often. If it did, then she would be the loner for the rest of her college years.
Britney went down to sit on a bench and figure out what to do next. Toying with her necklace, she glanced around. Don't get her wrong. She loved malls, but only if you had someone with you. Otherwise, it was really boring. You had no one to talk to, and no one to tell you if the clothes look good on you or not. She looked around, her chocolate eyes searching for someone to talk to.
